Ken Blanchard

Founder

Few people have influenced the day-to-day management of people and companies more than Dr. Kenneth Blanchard. A prominent, sought-after author, speaker, and business consultant, he is universally characterized by his friends, colleagues, and clients as one of the most insightful, powerful, and compassionate individuals in business today. Ken is one of the most influential leadership experts in the world and is respected for his years of groundbreaking work in the fields of leadership and management.

Margie Blanchard

Founder

Dr. Magorie Blanchard has earned a reputation worldwide as a compelling motivational speaker, an accomplished management consultant and trainer, a best-selling author, and an entrepreneur. She was the corecipient with her husband, Dr. Kenneth Blanchard, of the Entrepreneur of the Year award from Cornell University. Coauthor of The One Minute Manager Balances Work and Life, Working Well: Managing for Health and High Performance, and Leading at a Higher Level, Margie is well versed in a variety of topics and often speaks on leadership, balance, managing change, aging parents, and life planning. As cofounder of Blanchard, she worked diligently with Ken to develop the company into one of the premier leadership development companies in the world. Margie served as president of the company from 1987 to 1997, leading its rapid growth and success.

Tom McKee

Chief Executive Officer

Tom McKee is CEO and a co-owner of Blanchard. Since starting with the company in 1987, he has held the positions of General Manager, Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining Blanchard, Tom worked in the restaurant and food industry. He was in management with the Rusty Pelican Corporation and was an account executive with Lady Baltimore Foods in Kansas City. Tom helped start the Master of Science in Executive Leadership (MSEL) program with the University of San Diego. Tom’s other board member participation has been with the Better Business Bureau, the Private Industry Council and Workforce Partnership, and the Instructional Systems Association (ISA).

Tom earned his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Conservation from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Scott Blanchard

President

Scott Blanchard, President and co-owner of Blanchard, has more than 30 years of experience at Blanchard, which includes a number of senior positions in product development, sales, and delivery. He is driven by his background in research and hands-on experience working with organizations around the world that prove his principle that the success or failure of any business depends squarely on the quality of its leaders. Every employee’s and customer’s experience—whether good or bad—is determined by the leader. With this in mind, Scott is dedicated to helping managers and leaders find the best way to avoid the pain, fear, frustration, and political mayhem that occurs in the absence of good leadership.

As a true visionary and early adopter of emerging technologies, Scott cofounded one of the first coaching companies in 1999—today’s Blanchard Coaching Services. Later, with the goal of democratizing corporate coaching, he cocreated the first coaching management system to enhance the delivery of coaching at scale. To date, BCS has provided the highest caliber of coaching to hundreds of companies and more than 10,000 clients worldwide.

Scott is a coauthor of Leverage Your Best, Ditch the Rest and Leading at a Higher Level as well as Blanchard’s Coaching Essentials® and Blanchard Management Essentials training programs.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration and Hospitality from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from American University.

Rodrigo Segura

CMC Business Solutions, Inc., President and Senior Consultant

Rodrigo is one of the founders of CMC Business Solutions, Inc., which began operations in 2002 in Manila, Philippines. CMC specializes in Organizational Development, people development and Cross-Cultural coaching. Due to the nature of this work, Rodrigo has participated in different projects for various industries, including oil and gas, banking and finance, manufacturing and consumer goods.

His experience making his way up in the family organization allowed him to have exposure in operations at different levels and made him appreciate not only the financial results generated by the group of companies, but also, the relevance of having a motivated and well coordinated work force. His respect for the academe took him to take graduate studies in International Business in Colombia where is originally from and an MBA at the University of Dallas, TX., with a major in Corporate Finance.

Rodrigo joined the consultants team as an advisor first and as a seasoned consultant mixing his work experience with several certifications and trainings on topics associated to the human side of people working in corporations. This interest took him to get certified in the MBTI Type Indicator, Strengths Finder by Gallup, became a member in ICF (Int’l Coaching Federation), got certified by Marshall Goldsmith and is also certified in several of the Blanchard Leadership programs.

Rodrigo’s background has allowed him to take an active role in advising executives and managers from various companies including family-owned organizations and multinational companies. His has provided timely advice to management and decision-makers, especially when structural changes have been implemented at different levels in companies, where CMC has intervened.

Due to his experience working in different locations, Rodrigo also explored the cultural aspect of working with team members involving other cultures and went through a cultural certification following the studies of Dr. Geert Hofstede, who also mentor his development in this field using the CWQ (Culture in the Workplace Questionnaire).

Using this knowledge, Rodrigo has been able to coach expatriates not only in the Philippines, but also in different countries across the Asia Pacific region. Currently, he coaches expatriates on a regular basis in the Philippines and other Middle East and European countries.

Marie Segura

Consulting Associate

Marie is an experienced and caring Consulting Associate for The Blanchard Companies®. She works closely with participants to make sure their concerns and challenges are addressed and as a result, people are well prepared to implement key changes that impact their work performance, development, and overall business results. She focuses not just on leadership development initiatives but also on their applications in larger human resources management.

Through the years, she has developed in-depth understanding of the strategic human resources and organization development issues and ground-level implementation, challenges that executives face. She is a master trainer in SLII® (formerly known as Situational Leadership II®) and certified in Coaching Essentials® for Leaders, Management Essentials, Self Leadership, and Team Leadership Team.

Marie has consulted and trained in industries such as hospitality, banking, finance, manufacturing, and retail. She also understands the needs and challenges of consulting firms, having partnered with several of them, such as ODE (Singapore), Geert Hofstede (Netherlands), and the Ken Blanchard Group.

Marie has over 25 years of broad-based work experience in all areas of human resources, and has worked in multinational companies in Asia, Colombia, the United States, and Australia

Marie received her bachelor’s degree from Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, majoring in International Business and minoring in Spanish; she also received her MBA in International Human Resource Management from the University of Dallas. Marie is a certified culture coach through ODE International, which uses Dr. Geert Hofstede’s Culture in the Workplace Questionnaire, an area that has proven having a great impact in the corporate world today due to the interaction of cultures from all over the world in most organizations. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Filipino.

Marie also contributes with underprivileged communities and In her free time, she mentors several girls from marginalized areas in Metro Manila to pursue and continue their high school education.
